Who makes Rowhouse
Rowhouse is made and supported by Kugamon, which has been shipping software on the Salesforce platform since 2009. Our business is revenue operations, not grids — which is exactly why Rowhouse has no paid tier to hold back.
Kugamon
Kugamon builds quote-to-cash and subscription software that runs natively in Salesforce. It has been shipping since 2009, is founder-led, holds 4.9 stars from 130+ reviews on the AppExchange, and ranks #1 in four AppExchange categories: CPQ, Quote-to-Cash, Subscription Management and Subscription Billing.
Revenue software is the most demanding place to build on Salesforce: finance-grade, audited, and used every day by people who cannot afford a wrong number. Rowhouse is built the same way.
The approach, which you can read
- 29 hard rules, enforced by lint and CI wherever a machine can check them — among them no
globalApex, no callouts, no third-party JavaScript, every read and write as the user, and no paid tier. - Test suites that run on every change, including accessibility checks.
- A published benchmark, with the method and the script, at up to 50,000 rows.
Why a grid
The grievances in years of reviews of paid Salesforce grids are rarely about the software. They are about paying per seat for something that should be part of the platform, and about configuration that belongs to the vendor rather than to you. Rowhouse is our answer to both.

What we are building
A grid that behaves the way Salesforce’s own list views do, edits the way a spreadsheet does, and is set up without code.
Who makes Rowhouse: questions
Why would a company give a grid away?
Because a grid is part of the platform people already work in, and it should not be a line item. Kugamon’s business is revenue operations software; Rowhouse is not what we sell, so there is no tier to hold back and no commercial reason to stop maintaining it.
What if Kugamon stopped maintaining it?
The source is Apache-2.0, built from Lightning Web Components and Apex with no global Apex and no third-party code, so anyone can pick it up and keep it going.
Three things you can verify without asking us
Free. Not freemium, not a trial, not a tier.
Install it, assign the permission sets, build your first grid on the Grid Admin tab. Everything else is in the Grid Guide inside the app.
