AGrid
A no-code grid from a Salesforce consultancy founded in 1998, built around related lists that reach past the data model, and documented down to its own list of known issues.
What it does well
- Reach past the data model. Intelligent Related Lists build virtual relationships to grandchild, sibling, hierarchical and wholly unrelated objects, several in one configuration, alongside columns drawn from parent objects several levels up.
- Grouping with summaries. Three grouping levels, including by parent fields, with Record Count, Sum, Average, Min and Max at every level, and inline edit that keeps working inside grouped rows.
- Collision handling. Since June 2026 an admin can choose what happens when two people edit the same record: ignore it, block the save, or show a Review Before Save comparison of your value, the saved value and the original.
- Documentation that names its defects. 77 public pages, including a Known Issues list of about fifty entries kept current to August 2026.
What it is
AGrid is a managed package from Softsquare, a Salesforce consultancy and product developer founded in 1998, with offices in Maryland, Toronto and Chennai. It has been on the AppExchange since 16 March 2021. One component, AGrid List View, goes on Lightning record, home and app pages, Experience Cloud pages or the Utility Bar, and renders the same configuration as a table, cards, a Kanban board, a chart, a full-screen focus view or a split view with record details beside the list. A wizard builds a grid from scratch, from an existing list view or from a related list.
How it is built
The grid is a Lightning Web Component in your org, reading through packaged Apex. Its documentation mentions no callouts, remote site settings or named credentials, and installation has no connection step. Since June 2026 a developer component lets you embed the grid in your own Lightning web component; it needs Lightning Web Security switched on and supports no custom actions. A helper component must sit on each page exactly once, or actions fire twice.
Your configuration is records in sixteen packaged custom objects, and moves between orgs through AGrid’s own JSON export and import rather than your release pipeline. The installation guide asks you to set org-wide sharing to Public Read/Write on AGrid’s configuration objects. Saved views carry filters, columns, grouping, sorting and view mode, and can be shared privately, publicly, or with named users, roles, profiles, groups and permission sets.
What it publishes about its limits
Softsquare publishes exact numbers. The grid lazy-loads 25 to 100 records at a time; Load All loads 2,000 at a time, up to 10,000. One grouping accordion holds up to 10,000 records, and a level holds up to 2,000 accordions; Load All is off while grouping or Kanban is on. Above 50,000 filtered records, charts and summaries stop working.
No undo, no paste and no record import are documented, and export is CSV only. Its Known Issues page says inline edit reaches one level of parent fields, that bulk edit does not re-filter dependent picklists record by record, and that multi-currency orgs see currency values rounded. Whole sections of that page cover Safari, mobile and Experience Cloud. The one documented keyboard shortcut is Ctrl+S, and no accessibility statement was found. The listing supports English only.
Price
$10 per user per month, list price, billed annually — $120 per user per year, with a $600 minimum contract value that works out to five users at list. Two-year and three-year contracts paid in full get 10% and 20% off. There is a 14-day trial, no tiers and no feature gates; nonprofit and community-user rates are quoted on request, and Softsquare says custom enhancements may be charged. It is not the lowest published rate in the category: Grids by Orenda lists at $7 per user per month.
Common complaints
All 13 AppExchange reviews are five stars, and there are no complaints about AGrid on any review site or forum we searched. What follows comes from AGrid’s own Known Issues page and documentation, not from customers. What we read: All 13 of AGrid’s AppExchange reviews, read on 6 October 2026, and its G2 profile, which has none.
-
A long known-issues list on Safari, mobile and Experience Cloud
AGrid keeps its Known Issues page current: about fifty entries in eleven groups, last updated on 4 August 2026, with whole sections on Safari, on mobile and iPad layout, and on community templates.

Ceilings in its own documentation
Load All loads 2,000 records at a time, up to 10,000; one grouping level holds at most 2,000 groups; and above 50,000 filtered records, chart view and summaries stop working.

Choose AGrid when
- You need editable views across objects with no relationship in your data model: grandchild, sibling or wholly unrelated records.
- You want Kanban, chart, card and split views of the same data in the same component as the grid.
- Your grid serves an Experience Cloud site, including read-only grids for unauthenticated guests.

AGrid: questions
How much does AGrid cost?
The AppExchange listing publishes a list price of $10 per user per month, billed annually, with a minimum contract value of $600 a year, read on 7 October 2026. Paying for two or three years in full takes 10% or 20% off, and nonprofit and community-user rates are quoted on request.
How many rows can AGrid show?
By default it loads 25 to 100 records at a time as you scroll. With Load All switched on it loads 2,000 at a time up to a stated maximum of 10,000, and Softsquare documents that charts and summaries stop working above 50,000 filtered records.
Can AGrid paste from Excel or undo an edit?
Neither is documented: searches of AGrid’s 77-page documentation return no pages for undo or paste. Records go in by typing into the grid or its Bulk Create window, and record import is not offered.
Where does AGrid keep its configuration?
As records in sixteen packaged custom objects in your org. Configurations move between orgs as a JSON file exported and imported through AGrid, with a validation pass, rather than as Salesforce metadata.
Three things you can verify without asking us
Nobody should pay per seat to edit a thousand rows.
Compare it on your own data: install it beside the grid you have, and keep both until you are sure.
