ROI calculatorYour users, six paid grids.
Move the slider to your user count and pick a term. The calculator totals license, implementation and admin for Rowhouse and the six paid Salesforce grids. Paid license lines are published list prices; implementation and admin are labeled estimates, for Rowhouse too.
At 50 users over a 3-year term, Rowhouse costs $6,120, and the lowest-cost paid grid, AGrid, costs $23,640 more.

Cost only: this calculator estimates no return and no time saved. Paid license lines are list prices read in October 2026, not contract prices; implementation and admin are estimated hours at $150 an hour for implementation and $80 an hour for admin, the same for every product, and no product is shown at zero ongoing cost. Rowhouse has not shipped, so its line is the cost its specification implies. Model as of 2026-10-06. Something wrong? Tell us.
How the model works
Three lines per product. License is the price per user per month, times users, times months. Implementation is one-time. Admin is the time it takes to run the product each year. Every implementation and admin figure is an estimate in hours, priced at $150 an hour for implementation and $80 an hour for admin, the same rates for every product, and none is ever zero: somebody always has to run it.
Rowhouse’s license is $0 at any user count. Its implementation is 8 to 16 hours and its admin 1 to 2 hours a month; the calculator uses the midpoints, $1,800 once and $1,440 a year, at every size, because nothing in it is per user.
Each paid grid’s license is its published list price, with a low and a high case where the price has two readings, and the calculator uses the midpoint. Implementation and admin were estimated at 25, 50 and 250 users; between those sizes the calculator draws a straight line, and outside them it holds the nearest estimate. At those three sizes over three years its license lines and hours match the cost charts on the comparison pages; the charts price every hour at $75, and this calculator prices implementation and admin hours at the rates above.
| Product | License /user/mo | Implementation (25 · 50 · 250) | Admin a year (25 · 50 · 250) | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rowhouse | $0 | $1,800 at every size | $1,440 at every size | 8–16 hours setup, 1–2 hours a month; implementation at $150 and admin at $80 an hour. |
| Conga Grid | $15.84–$18 | $6,000 · $8,250 · $16,500 | $2,400 · $3,120 · $5,760 | $18 list price; the low case takes off the 12% average discount G2 reports from Conga Grid buyers. Ten-user minimum. |
| GridBuddy | $24–$27.50 | $5,100 · $6,900 · $13,800 | $2,880 · $3,600 · $5,760 | $24 on the original GridBuddy listing; $27.50 on the GridBuddy Connect listing, last read 6 October 2026. |
| Grid Mate | $15 | $4,200 · $6,000 · $16,200 | $2,400 · $3,120 · $5,280 | $15 list price. At 250 users and above, the low case models a 20% volume discount; Grid Mate publishes a volume track without figures. |
| Mashmatrix Sheet | $18–$24 | $7,500 · $9,750 · $21,000 | $2,640 · $3,360 · $5,520 | $18 Standard to $24 Enterprise, the English list prices billed on an annual contract. |
| RavenApps Grids | $12–$13.80 | $5,250 · $8,250 · $21,000 | $2,400 · $2,880 · $4,640 | $12 list price; the high case adds the 15% for support and maintenance on RavenApps’ pricing page. Ten-user minimum. |
| AGrid | $10 | $3,150 · $4,200 · $12,000 | $2,400 · $3,120 · $5,280 | $10 list price; AGrid publishes 10% off two-year and 20% off three-year contracts paid in full, applied to the low case. |
ROI calculator: questions
Why isn’t Rowhouse shown at $0?
Because somebody has to run it. The license is free, but the model counts the time it takes: 8 to 16 hours to install it and build the first grids at $150 an hour, then 1 to 2 hours a month of an administrator’s time at $80 an hour. None of that grows with the number of users, which is why Rowhouse’s line stays flat as the slider moves.
Which figures are published, and which are estimates?
Each paid grid’s license line is its published list price, read in October 2026, multiplied by users and months. Implementation and admin are estimates for every product, Rowhouse included: hours from the midpoint of a low and a high case in our competitor research, priced at $150 an hour for implementation and $80 an hour for admin, the same rates for everyone. No product is shown at zero ongoing cost.
Why does a competitor’s implementation and admin change with the user count?
Because the per-user work grows: each new user needs a license and permission sets assigned, more teams mean more grids to build and maintain, and some products need configuration moved between orgs by hand. The research estimated these at 25, 50 and 250 users; the calculator draws a straight line between those sizes and holds the nearest value outside them.
Does the calculator count a return, or time saved?
No. It counts cost only. We publish no time-saved figure for Rowhouse: it has not shipped, and a number like that has to be measured, not assumed.
Rowhouse isn’t installable yet. What is its cost based on?
The work its specification implies: installing the package, assigning the permission sets, building grids on the Grid Admin tab and keeping them current. It is an estimate, not an observed cost, and it will be checked against real installs.
Can I share my numbers?
Yes. The address updates as you change the users or the term; Copy link copies it, and anyone who opens it sees the same view.
Three things you can verify without asking us
Free. Not freemium, not a trial, not a tier.
Install it, assign the permission sets, build your first grid on the Grid Admin tab. Everything else is in the Grid Guide inside the app.
