What are Lightning Locker and Lightning Web Security?
Lightning Locker and Lightning Web Security are the two security layers Salesforce runs Lightning components under, keeping each component’s code apart from the rest of the page. An org runs one or the other.
In Salesforce
Lightning Web Security is the newer of the two and replaces Lightning Locker for Lightning web components; an admin turns it on in Session Settings. Orgs that have not turned it on still run their components under Lightning Locker, which restricts more of what a component’s JavaScript can do.
How Rowhouse handles it
Rowhouse works under both. Locker support is kept on purpose, so an org that has not turned on Lightning Web Security still runs Rowhouse, and that is why parts of the grid are not loaded lazily. The evidence so far is a 50,000-row benchmark pass with Lightning Web Security off and automated tests of the fallbacks; a full functional pass under Locker has not yet been recorded. Rowhouse loads no third-party JavaScript under either.

Lightning Locker and Lightning Web Security (LWS): questions
Do I have to turn on Lightning Web Security to use Rowhouse?
No. Rowhouse is built to run under either layer, and the published benchmark includes a pass with Lightning Web Security off.
Does Rowhouse load any third-party JavaScript?
No. Rowhouse contains no third-party code, and the build fails if any is added.
Three things you can verify without asking us
Free. Not freemium, not a trial, not a tier.
Install it, assign the permission sets, build your first grid on the Grid Admin tab. Everything else is in the Grid Guide inside the app.
